What is Voyant AI Chatbot?
Voyant AI Chatbot is an AI chatbot for WordPress and WooCommerce. It reads your published pages, posts and products, answers visitors' questions in plain English, points them to the right page, and shows you what people are asking. See the plugin on WordPress.org.
Is it free?
The plugin is free. The Free plan includes 10 live chats a month and a Test chat for trying your assistant. Paid plans start at £5 a month for 50 live chats, and go up to 5,000 chats a month. See all plans.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes. It knows your product prices, stock and options, steers visitors away from what is sold out, and can offer an add-to-basket link.
Do I need an OpenAI account or an API key?
No. There is nothing to set up with an AI provider. You connect your site to your Voyant AI account with a licence key, and the assistant learns your site in about a minute.
How does it learn my website?
The plugin sends the text of your published pages, posts and products straight from WordPress, and updates it when you edit them. Private and password-protected content, and any page you tick "Keep out", is never sent. Nothing is sent until you connect your site.
What if it does not know the answer?
It says so, and the question is added to a list. You type the answer once and it uses it straight away. A built-in Help assistant can see your own assistant and tell you what to teach it next.
How is visitors' personal data handled?
Voyant AI is run by a UK company. Email addresses, phone numbers and links are masked before questions are analysed, the widget sets no advertising cookies, and you can delete individual conversations. Replies are generated by OpenAI as a named sub-processor. Read the privacy notice.
Will it slow my website down?
The chat loads one small script, about 3 KB compressed, asynchronously after your page. The chat itself runs in a separate frame so it cannot clash with your theme, and it stays off checkout pages.
Can agencies use it on client websites?
Yes. One account can run up to 40 websites, each with its own assistant, and a white-label version removes the "Powered by Voyant AI" line. Voyant AI for agencies.
